Since this class is one of the last ones of the day, you have had a chance to experience almost a whole day at the new ALC. How do you feel about it? Tell me the things you think are positives and the things that you are not thrilled with. What should be kept and what should be changed? If you think something should change - how should it change? ReplyDeleteIts my first and only class of the day so not too many complaints but this school isnt too bad a little small though
ReplyDeleteI may not say much, but I have had many thoughts on this new school. Most of these thoughts are not positive. I of course miss Central Alternative and try not to expect all of the amazing experiences that came from there, but still....this "Alternative Learning Center" is lackluster and mashed together. Aside from the building itself not being the most qualified for the students here, the program itself is the most concerning to me. I do not believe that just one summer was adequate to create and plan this program. Even on the second day I still see some major road blocks. The upstairs of this building feels as though I'm stuck in some corporate nightmare...the walls are plain, the carpets practically gray, and few high sitting casements. I'm not going to continue ranting anymore because I know everyone here (or a majority of them) detest this building and have spoken enough of this building.

ReplyDeleteI think that school is okay so far but it is too small. when the new people come to alc or if they do then it will be worse because it will be more crowded than it is now. Classes are too big meaning students in the classroom. When more teachers find out that students are unhappy because they are crowdded the better. I personally dont like that it is so crowded but im going to graduate so its fine. For Now.
